On a crisp autumn morning, Danica and I sat together in this quaint coffee shop determined to pick a name for our imagined brand.
After going to school, and university, and living together for three years, here we were on the other side of the world still following each other through life.
As we tried our first and last ever Bakewell slice, we realised that our skills marry together perfectly. Danica has a background in fashion and textiles (and even graduated top of her class!!), while I have a background in communications and social.
We wanted a name enriched with who we are, what we love, and where we're going.
At the time, we were deep into consuming Gilmore Girls. It only enhanced the charm of the English autumn we were experiencing for the first time. As we sat with our iced coffees in the Winchester cafe, after strolling through the Sunday markets and visiting the local library, we identified that we wanted a name that encompassed this feeling.
Both of our birthdays are in autumn, or fall as Lorelei would say.
We knew we wanted our brand to last through the seasons, pieces that are for always. Always.
Fall and Always.
And so our cosy, romantic, whimsical brand was born.
